Itinerary overview

Day 1: Rome Arrive in Rome and meet the ladies over a welcome drink! We’ll do a low key evening walking tour with a local Italian guide including some of the iconic sites such as the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. We’ll end the night in a charming Roman cafe with plenty of your Italian favorites on the menu.

Day 2: Rome Today we’ll meet our local guides for a Vespa tour of the countryside on the outskirts of Rome. You’ll whiz by Renaissance villas and stop for regional cheeses and locally baked bread. We’ll get back in time to relax and freshen up, then head out for a night tour of the Colosseum with exclusive access  to see the grounds (closed to general public), including where the gladiators and animals lived underground. We’ll finish the day with a hearty meal and great glass of Italian red.

Day 3: Naples/Pompeii Today we head out to the coast! But first, pizza. After breakfast, we’ll have a private driver pick us up and our first stop will be Pompeii where we’ll see the awe-inspiring preserved remains of the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius and the civilization that was frozen in time. Afterwards, we’ll head to the first pizza place in Naples for a proper Neopolitan lunch. We’ll then head to our villa in Positano where we’ll settle in and take in the sunset over a glass of wine in a breathtaking location before having dinner al fresco overlooking the twinkling lights of the cliffs of the Amalfi Coast.

Day 4: Positano Today we’ll take it slow. After breakfast, we’ll head to a beach club to soak up some rays. You’ll have the rest of the day to lounge, shop and wander the streets of Positano. Get custom made sandals while indulging in Italian gelato! You’ll also have the option to do a sunset yoga class. We’ll meet up for dinner for another meal with a spectacular view.

Day 5: Capri Boating day! After breakfast we’ll get aboard our private boat and set sail. We’ll swim and snorkel in the sparkling waters, venture into the famous Grottos (blue, green and white), see the gorgeous coastline and rock formations and have an idyllic lunch in Capri. We’ll head back with plenty of time to relax and freshen up and then meet for dinner.

Day 6: Amalfi Coast After a leisurely breakfast, we’ll meet our local guide and driver for a day visiting the rest of the Amalfi Coast – Ravello and Amalfi – with stops for wine tasting and sampling more of the local cuisine. When we get back, you’ll have the option for a spa treatment or free time on your own. We’ll meet for dinner and you’ll have the option to partake in some of Positano’s nightlife.

Day 7: Sorrento After breakfast, we’ll head out to a local farm run by a family that has been there for generations where you’ll wander through olive trees and lemon groves. We’ll sample locally made olive oils and limoncello, picking out fresh produce from the garden for a meal we’ll make together at the guidance of an Italian chef. After the meal, we’ll head back to Rome and check into a conveniently-located hotel so you can fly out in the morning if you choose.

Day 8: Return to Rome It’s time to say goodbye! Today you will either fly home or you can choose to extend your trip as Rome is a central airport with access to many destinations.
