Itinerary overview

Day 1: We’ll arrive and gather in the late afternoon to get to know each other over a New Orleans specialty – the hurricane! We’ll follow up with a chef-forward creole fusion meal and a sazerac nightcap at the famous Roosevelt Hotel.

Day 2: Today we’ll brunch like a proper Southerner and visit the Garden District with plenty of time to shop all the cute boutiques and sample the ice cream and other treats along the way. After some time to chill and freshen up, we’ll have dinner in the French Quarter followed by a fascinating walk (cocktails allowed) to some of the most haunted spots in NOLA where we’ll hear chilling tales of voodoo, real people and events that gave New Orleans the dark side of its history. We’ll end with a drink at the oldest bar in New Orleans, hailing from the 1700s.

Day 3: After a breakfast of champions, we’ll head out on the bayou and spend the afternoon looking for gators then lunching at a gorgeous old Southern plantation. Tonight we’ll catch dinner and live music on Fremont Street, the tamer (and better) sister to Bourbon St.

Day 4: This morning we’ll do a must-do stop for any tourist – coffee and beignets! We’ll stroll around the French Quarter at leisure popping in and out of shops until it’s time to fly home!
